Gemazaar is a Sri Lanka-focused online gem bazaar built for the future of gem trading, making auctions, fixed-price listings, and seller discovery clearer for buyers and licensed sellers across the island and abroad.
Sri Lanka has long been known for fine sapphires, spinels, and other coloured gemstones. Much of that trade still depends on word of mouth, informal channels, and uneven information. Gemazaar exists to bring that world online without losing what makes it special: skilled dealers, provenance, and serious buyers.
We are a young company, formed recently with a clear goal—help the Sri Lankan gem business modernize through technology that respects how the industry actually works. That means live auctions, seller verification, mobile-first design, and policies that set honest expectations for everyone on the platform.
